After 2 months of work in full Orgal can present its latest acquisition – the new printing machine XL 106. This machine has innovative and unique features in Portugal. You can print 5 colors plus water-based varnish (as we have done so far, but with better quality, accuracy and speed) as you can print on different media with LE UV (Low Energy UV) inks. These inks allow us to print on a more varied range of papers, especially finepapers, because drying is immediate at the end of the machine. It will also be possible to print on other types of media being subjected to tests because it is a recent technology.
The acquisition was decided in Orgal’s line of thinking, with concern for the quality of the printing but also for the economic and environmental cost. We have long been a concern of our FSC and PEFC Certifications (one of the first ones to obtain this certification).
Printing with conventional UV inks has a high energy cost, which is not the case with LE UV inks that require much less energy for curing.
At the same time if the customer continue to want their work to 5 colors plus varnish, we continue to offer this possibility and now with more quality and accuracy fruit of the normal evolution of the machine.
